Dhordo, a village in Gujarat's Kutch district, has become the state's fourth fully solar-powered village under the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana.
All 81 homes now have rooftop solar panels with a combined capacity of 177 kW, generating about 2.95 lakh units of electricity annually.
The project is expected to save each household roughly ₹16,064 yearly and deliver over ₹13 lakh in combined savings and income from surplus power.
