The sign, which read "Jews are banned from here! Nothing personal. No antisemitism. Just can't stand you," sparked outrage across Germany, with officials, including the mayor, federal commissioner for Jewish life, and Israel’s ambassador, calling it a clear case of antisemitism linked to Nazi-era persecution. Police removed the sign but it remained visible inside the shop, leading to at least four complaints and an ongoing investigation into possible incitement.
