Firefighters in Witham, Essex, rescued a young parrot named Peggy who became stuck in a tree during her first flight. Unable to descend on her own, Peggy was retrieved by specially trained animal rescue crews from the Essex Fire and Rescue Service using an Aerial Ladder Platform. The rescue operation began at 10:15 am and concluded by 11:39 am, successfully reuniting Peggy with her owner.
