The credits, generated by 1PointFive’s STRATOS Direct Air Capture facility in Texas, support NYK’s goal to remove 100 million tons of CO2 annually from the maritime sector, which emits about one billion tons of CO2 yearly, with 10% remaining after efficiency gains.
