Super Retail Group faces a potential class action lawsuit over allegations it underpaid up to 3,000 store managers since 2019 by manipulating payroll records to avoid overtime and entitlements. Law firm Adero, representing current and former employees, claims the company used aggressive wage control practices similar to those that led to Coles and Woolworths’ $1 billion underpayments. The lawsuit, which may add to previously admitted underpayments exceeding $60 million, alleges systemic violations of award rates across Rebel Sport, Supercheap Auto, BCF, and Macpac. Super Retail has not publicly responded.
