South Korean Foreign Minister Cho Hyun began a two-day visit to Beijing on September 17, 2025, to hold high-level talks with Chinese officials, marking the first such meeting since President Lee Jae Myung's administration took office.
The discussions focused on strengthening bilateral relations, including the expected attendance of Chinese President Xi Jinping at South Korea’s upcoming APEC summit in late October.
