Quentin Williams Jr. charged in connection with the Sept. 6 shooting death of Cameron Ryant in Orangeburg, SC.

Quentin Williams Jr., 21, has been charged with murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime in connection with the September 6 shooting death of 28-year-old Cameron Ryant at the Roosevelt Gardens apartment complex in Orangeburg County, South Carolina. Authorities say video evidence shows Williams shot Ryant in the back. Williams was arrested on September 16 after a joint effort with the U.S. Marshals Service and was booked into the Orangeburg County Detention Center. He made his first court appearance that day, where his rights were formally presented. The investigation remains ongoing.
