Paul McCartney’s private 1963–64 photos of the Beatles, unseen for 50 years, debut at London’s Gagosian Gallery.
Paul McCartney’s previously unseen photographs from the Beatles’ rise to fame in 1963 and 1964 are on display at London’s Gagosian Gallery until October 4.
Taken with a 35mm Pentax camera, the candid images capture the band during key moments including their Christmas shows, a Paris run at the Olympia, and their historic Pan Am Flight 101 to New York.
The collection, hidden for five decades, features unguarded moments, self-portraits, and scenes from cities like Liverpool, London, and Paris, offering a rare glimpse into the band’s early stardom.
This marks the first public showing of McCartney’s personal photo set.
