flag A new taco spot, Taqueria Sin Nombre, opened in Chinatown with a rotating menu and plans for a liquor license.

Taqueria Sin Nombre, a new nameless taco restaurant from the team behind Melbourne’s popular Dingo Ate My Taco, has opened in Chinatown. Located in a laneway with raw brick walls, an orange-tiled bar, and tables made from repurposed Coca-Cola crates, the venue features a rotating menu of Mexican-inspired dishes including al pastor tacos, brisket, carnitas, kangaroo, and smoked chicken skin chicharron. A trompo enables al pastor preparation, and house-made tortillas are used throughout. Once approved, the liquor license will allow cocktails, Mexican beer, spirits, and the team’s own mezcal. The restaurant is open for dinner on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
