flag Microsoft unifies game libraries from Steam, Epic, and more in new Xbox app update.

Microsoft has updated the Xbox app for Windows 11 and handheld devices to serve as a unified game launcher, aggregating titles from Steam, Epic Games, Battle.net, and other storefronts into a single library. Installed games from supported platforms now appear automatically in "My Library" and "Most Recent" tabs, with users able to manage visibility via settings. The app includes a "My Apps" section for accessing third-party storefronts and web browsers. Cloud-playable games and play history will sync across devices, with full support rolling out in September. The update enhances convenience for PC and handheld gamers, especially on new ROG Xbox Ally devices launching October 16.
