A Maine man was sentenced to 27 months in prison for selling cocaine and crack to an FBI informant.
A 35-year-old Westbrook man, Francis Mezan, also known as "Frenchie," has been sentenced to 27 months in federal prison for drug trafficking after pleading guilty to selling cocaine and crack cocaine to an FBI informant on three occasions between July and September 2024.
The investigation was led by the FBI with support from the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency and Portland Police Department.
Mezan will also serve three years of supervised release following his prison term.
The sentence was handed down by U.S. District Judge Nancy Torresen in Portland.
