Union Home Minister Amit Shah urged Indians to support Made in India products ahead of new GST reforms set for September 22, calling for reduced reliance on foreign goods.
Speaking in Delhi, he promoted a pledge to buy only domestically made items and highlighted the 56th GST Council's decision to simplify rates to 5% and 18% by merging previous 12% and 28% slabs.
Shah also noted progress in Delhi’s waste management, citing two new energy plants that will process thousands of tons of waste daily, producing green energy and improving urban sustainability.
