Fox Brothers acquires NMS Civil Engineering to boost recycled asphalt use and expand operations.
Fox Brothers Holdings, a Blackpool-based construction materials company, has acquired Wigan’s NMS Civil Engineering, a specialist in highway works and asphalt recycling, for an undisclosed sum.
The deal, backed by private equity firm Stellex Capital, accelerates Fox Group’s shift toward a circular construction model by integrating recycled asphalt planings into its production.
The acquisition supports the company’s goal to use nearly two million tonnes of recycled materials annually and expands its operations, including its new £4 million Leyland asphalt plant.
This marks the second acquisition by Fox Brothers since Stellex’s investment in September 2024, following the purchase of J Fisher & Sons.
