The Wildlife Trust seeks approval to replace a storm-damaged shelter at a Welsh wildlife center with a new timber structure.
The Wildlife Trust of South & West Wales has applied to replace a storm-damaged shelter at the Welsh Wildlife Centre near Cardigan, seeking approval from Pembrokeshire planners.
The original shelter, approved in 2012, was severely damaged by storms.
The proposed replacement is a timber-framed structure, about 12 meters long and 3 meters wide, using locally-sourced wood and traditional building methods to match the area’s character.
The existing pizza oven under the shelter will be retained.
The application is under review.
