Valmet will supply a high-end paper machine to China’s Guangxi Jianhui Paper, with production starting late 2026.

Valmet will supply a high-end sack and kraft paper machine, automation, and services to Guangxi Jianhui Paper in China, with operations set to begin by late 2026. The 7,450 mm wide machine, designated PM 8n, will produce paper with a basis weight of 50–110 g/m² at a design speed of 1,300 m/min. The order, part of Valmet’s third-quarter 2025 bookings, is valued between €35 million and €50 million. The delivery includes the full paper machine from headbox to reel, broke collection, advanced control systems, quality monitoring, and industrial internet connectivity to enhance performance and support sustainability in packaging.
