Suzlon wins an 838 MW wind energy contract from Tata Power, its largest yet, to boost India’s clean, reliable power.
Suzlon Group has secured an 838 MW wind energy order from Tata Power Renewable Energy, its largest in FY26 and second-largest ever, following a 1,544 MW deal with NTPC Green Energy.
The project, part of India’s Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) initiative, will deploy 266 S144 wind turbines—each rated at 3.15 MW—across Karnataka, Maharashtra, and Tamil Nadu.
This marks the third repeat order from Tata Power, highlighting their long-term partnership and shared commitment to India’s clean energy transition.
The project supports grid-stable, round-the-clock renewable power and reflects growing momentum in India’s renewable energy sector.
