Shoalhaven Council has received over $900,000 from the NSW Government to protect and manage its coastline from Kioloa to Shoalhaven Heads.
The funding, part of the DCCEEW Coastal and Estuary grants program, will support eight projects focused on coastal erosion resilience, estuary management, and hazard reduction.
Prioritized under the Shoalhaven Open Coast and Jervis Bay Coastal Management Program, the work is expected to be completed within three years.
The council secured the largest share among 17 councils receiving grants.
