Patidar has had a standout year, guiding Central Zone to Duleep Trophy victory and finishing as second-highest run-scorer in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. In List-A cricket, he has 2,211 runs at 37.47 average with a strike rate over 99, including four centuries and 13 fifties.
