The InterContinental Singapore will rebrand in 2026 after its management deal with IHG ends on Dec. 31, 2025.
The InterContinental Singapore in Bugis, owned by Frasers Hospitality Trust (FHT), will end its management agreement with InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) on December 31, 2025, and rebrand under a new operator in 2026.
The change follows the expiry of the management contract and FHT’s upcoming delisting in October.
The 406-room hotel, part of Frasers' premium portfolio, will remain operational but faces challenges due to shifting travel demand and a stronger Singapore dollar.
While Marriott International is rumored to be a top contender, the new operator has not been confirmed.
FHT cited declining performance of upper-tier hotels in Singapore due to price sensitivity and changing traveler profiles as key reasons for the rebranding.
