Halo Developments approved to turn Ringwood’s historic Corn Exchange into 10 homes and shops.
Halo Developments has received planning approval to convert Ringwood’s former Regal cinema and Route 42 nightclub, known as the Corn Exchange, into 10 residential flats and commercial space.
The building, originally opened in 1914, has been vacant since 2002.
The project includes restoring the historic structure, creating a landscaped courtyard, and demolishing a nearby car wash outbuilding to add an extra home.
Commercial units will occupy the basement and ground floors, while residential units will be on the ground, first, and second floors.
New Forest District Council granted consent on September 12, 2021, as part of efforts to regenerate Ringwood’s market place.
