The Canadian government is offering financial support through the Regional Tariff Response Initiative (RTRI) to businesses in Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba affected by global trade disruptions.
The program helps firms improve productivity, diversify markets, strengthen supply chains, and boost domestic trade.
Eligible applicants include for-profit businesses, Indigenous-owned organizations, and business-supporting non-profits across all industries.
Funding covers labour, equipment, training, consultancy, and other project-related costs, with projects needing completion by March 31, 2028.
