Andhra farmers protest low crop prices, blaming CM Naidu for broken promises and lack of support.
YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, leader of the YSRCP, accused Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu of neglecting farmers amid plummeting crop prices, with onions selling for as low as Rs 3 per kg and tomatoes at Rs 1.50 per kg in Kurnool.
Reddy claimed the government ignored repeated pleas from farmers, failed to fulfill promises of procurement and fair prices, and urged immediate action to prevent further distress.
He criticized the TDP for broken commitments and called for urgent intervention to support farmers.
