Elderly collector auctions off vast array of neon signs and vintage items due to health issues.
Robert Richardson, an 83-year-old Ontario hobbyist and entrepreneur, is auctioning off his extensive collection of neon signs, vintage cars, toys, and Americana due to health issues.
The items, displayed in his industrial space for 15 years, include signs for Pep Boys, Union 76, and Felix Chevrolet.
The auction, organized by Bonhams with the Museum of Neon Art's help, will occur on September 20-21 at Bonham's Hollywood office.
