BT Group PLC has appointed Indian billionaire Sunil Bharti Mittal and Gopal Vittal as non-independent non-executive directors.
The appointments follow a new "relationship agreement" allowing Bharti Global, which owns nearly 25% of BT, to nominate two board members as long as it retains at least a 20% stake.
BT's shares fell 3.4% after the announcement.
