This announcement comes before the Asia Cup 2025 match between India and Pakistan. Despite calls to boycott the match due to recent terrorist attacks, including from the father of a victim, the Supreme Court has refused to halt the match, and the government has no objections to India playing in multinational tournaments like the Asia Cup.
