Former Latta, SC, parks director charged with embezzling over $10,000 in town funds.

Timothy Carroll Bourgoin Jr., former parks and recreation director of Latta, South Carolina, is charged with embezzling over $10,000 in public funds. According to the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED), Bourgoin diverted money from town-sponsored events into his personal Cash App account instead of depositing it in the town's bank account. He has been booked into the Dillon County Detention Center.
