Former HNG promoters ordered to repay Rs 42.46 crore or face property seizure for misappropriation.

The National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) has ordered former promoters of Hindusthan National Glass & Industries Ltd (HNG) to repay Rs 42.46 crore to corporate debtors within two months, money that was misappropriated. The NCLT's Kolkata bench also directed the company’s Resolution Professional to start criminal proceedings against suspended directors Sanjay and Mukul Somany. If the money is not repaid, the promoters' properties will be seized.
