Former 49ers kicker Jake Moody has joined the Chicago Bears' practice squad after being waived by San Francisco following a poor performance. The 25-year-old third-round draft pick missed two field goals in the 49ers' season opener. Moody will serve as backup insurance for the Bears' veteran kicker, Cairo Santos. In his 32-game NFL career, Moody has made 46 of 62 field goals and 94 of 96 extra points.
