Former Irish politician Colm Keaveney pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of cocaine and driving without insurance. Keaveney, who was previously a member of the Irish parliament, was arrested at a checkpoint in Galway in June 2023 after testing positive for drugs. He is currently in addiction treatment and the case is set for November, pending a probation report.
