Eskom introduces 20 electric vehicles, aiming to electrify its fleet by 2035 and install public chargers.

Eskom, South Africa's state-owned electricity company, has introduced its first fleet of 20 electric vehicles (EVs) to promote sustainable transport and reduce carbon emissions. As part of its efforts, Eskom plans to electrify its entire fleet by 2035 and install 55 public EV charging stations over the next two years. The company is working with various stakeholders to build a robust e-mobility framework.
