A 21-year-old man, Chas Corrigan, has denied murdering 20-year-old Saudi Arabian student Mohammed Algasim, who was stabbed to death in Cambridge during a 10-week English language course.
Corrigan pleaded not guilty to murder but admitted to possessing a bladed article in public.
His father, Peter Corrigan, 50, pleaded guilty to assisting an offender.
A trial is scheduled for February 2, 2022.
