New Zealand's Tim Price edges toward Burghley Horse Trials title with third-place cross-country finish.

New Zealand equestrian Tim Price moved closer to reclaiming his Defender Burghley Horse Trials title with a third-place finish in the cross-country course. Riding his gelding Vitali, Price completed the challenging 6500m course in 11 minutes and 46 seconds, behind Austin O'Connor and defending champion Ros Canter. Price praised Vitali's performance and will compete in Sunday's show jumping round, aiming to reclaim the title he last won in 2018.
