Idaho Attorney General Raúl Labrador announced that four officers who fatally shot 17-year-old Victor Perez, an autistic, nonverbal teenager holding a knife on the other side of a fence, will not face criminal charges. The incident, captured on video, occurred in Pocatello, Idaho, in April. Labrador concluded that the officers were justified under Idaho law to use deadly force, unaware of Perez's disabilities. The family plans to pursue a civil suit despite the decision.
