Google Maps launches real-time tracking updates for navigation and deliveries on Android 16.

Google Maps is introducing a new feature called Live Updates for Android 16 users, offering real-time tracking for navigation, food deliveries, and ride-sharing. The feature provides persistent notifications showing journey progress, ETA, and traffic updates, visible on the lock screen, status bar, and Always-On Display. Currently in beta, it's expected to roll out with Android 16's next platform release.
