Bajaj Auto reports overall sales up 5%, driven by 29% export surge, despite 8% drop in domestic sales.

Bajaj Auto reported a 5% increase in total vehicle sales to 4,17,616 units in August 2025, compared to the same period last year. Domestic sales fell by 8% to 2,32,398 units, while exports surged by 29% to 1,85,218 vehicles. Two-wheeler sales rose 2% overall but dropped 12% in domestic markets. The company's strong export performance and growth in commercial vehicles offset weaker domestic demand.
