"Weapons" tops box office again with $10.2M; "Jaws" rerelease takes second at $8.1M.

"Weapons," a horror film, reclaimed the top spot at the box office during the Labor Day weekend, earning $10.2 million in its fourth weekend. Universal's rerelease of "Jaws" took second place with $8.1 million. The summer box office is predicted to reach $3.7 billion, just under last year's earnings and still short of the pre-pandemic benchmark of $4 billion. Despite strong May releases, the latter half of the summer struggled.
