In Bihar, over 1.98 lakh requests have been made to remove names from the voters' list, while nearly 30,000 have applied for inclusion during the Special Intensive Revision ahead of the state's Assembly elections. The Election Commission has also received 1.33 million applications from new voters. The final voter list, expected to be published on September 30, will exclude around 65 lakh people for reasons such as being deceased or having shifted.
