A 20-year-old man was arrested in Dublin after a tourist was left critically injured in a violent assault.

A 20-year-old man was arrested and charged after a serious assault in Dublin's Temple Bar left a 40-year-old English tourist in critical condition. The attack occurred around 12:30 AM on August 21, and the victim was hospitalized at Beaumont Hospital. The suspect appeared in court on August 30, with the Garda continuing their investigation. The Justice Minister appealed for witnesses to come forward.
