flag WestJet ordered to pay $7,000 to a Kelowna family for flight cancellations and delays.

A British Columbia tribunal has ordered WestJet to pay $7,000 in compensation to a Kelowna family for cancelled and delayed flights on January 12, 2024. Despite a delayed Phoenix flight, Adam Green, Vanessa Trevors, and their three children still reached their Calgary gate on time for their connection, which was later cancelled. The ruling, issued on August 21 by tribunal member Alissa Reynolds, found WestJet liable for the passengers' inconvenience.
