Lady Gaga leads VMAs with 12 nominations and a performance, airing Sept. 7 from New York.

Lady Gaga, leading with 12 nominations including Artist of the Year and Best Album for "Mayhem," will perform at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards on September 7 at 8 p.m. Eastern from UBS Arena in New York. LL Cool J will host, and new awards will honor Busta Rhymes and Ricky Martin. Other confirmed performers include Doja Cat, Post Malone, Conan Gray, and Tate McRae.
