The recalled eggs, sold under brand names like Nagatoshi Produce, Mishuo, and Nijiya Markets, bear the code CA 7695 with sell-by dates from July 1 to September 16. Eighteen individuals were hospitalized. Consumers are advised to discard or return recalled eggs. Symptoms include diarrhea, fever, vomiting, and dehydration. The outbreak affected mostly California residents, with cases reported between January 7 and July 25.
