At least 49 migrants have died and approximately 100 are missing after a boat carrying around 160 people capsized off Mauritania's coast. The vessel, carrying nationals from Senegal and Gambia, capsized when passengers moved to one side upon seeing town lights. So far, 17 people have been rescued, and search efforts continue.
