A recent Leger poll shows that 85% of Canadians want government regulation of AI to ensure its ethical and safe use, with 57% strongly agreeing. Conducted from August 22-25, the survey of 1,518 people also found a 10% rise in AI usage since March, despite concerns over job threats and misuse. However, online surveys like this one cannot have a margin of error assigned to them as they do not randomly sample the population.
