Childhood vaccine uptake rates in England fall short of targets, leaving many kids unprotected.

New government data shows that none of the main childhood vaccines in England reached the 95% uptake target required for herd immunity last year. The MMR vaccine had an uptake of 91.9%, the lowest since 2010/11, and the Hib/MenC vaccine had 88.9%, the lowest since 2011/12.
