School bus accident near Geelong kills one student, injures several others.

A school bus accident occurred in Victoria, Australia, on August 27, resulting in one student's death and serious injuries to others. The bus rolled over on Hamilton Highway near Stonehaven, west of Geelong, while en route to Christian College Geelong. Five patients were taken to University Hospital Geelong and another five to Royal Children's Hospital. The Hamilton Highway was closed between Inverleigh and Geelong, with alternative routes advised. Deputy Prime Minister Richard Marles expressed his condolences. The road reopened after investigations were completed.
