Man arrested after standoff with police during domestic disturbance; children rescued.

A 37-year-old Davenport man, Danarease Lawless, was arrested after a standoff at a Bettendorf townhouse where he threatened his ex-wife with a gun in front of four children. Lawless, who was charged with multiple felonies including possession of a stolen firearm, surrendered with one child, while officers rescued the other three. No one was injured. The incident is under investigation.
