Vanity Fair faces staff threats of resignation over proposed First Lady Melania Trump cover.
Several Vanity Fair staffers have reportedly threatened to quit if the magazine features First Lady Melania Trump on its cover, according to the Daily Mail. Global editorial director Mark Guiducci proposed the idea, sparking backlash from some employees. An unnamed staffer stated they would leave and half of the editorial staff would follow if Melania was featured. However, other employees dismissed these threats, saying no one would quit over the cover story decision. Trump was previously not featured on Vanity Fair or Vogue during her husband's first term, unlike Michelle Obama, who was on Vogue's cover three times.
