TransLink seeks public input on two routes for a new BRT line from Burnaby to West Vancouver.
TransLink is gathering public input on two potential routes for a new 21-kilometer bus rapid transit (BRT) line from Metrotown in Burnaby to Park Royal in West Vancouver.
The BRT will have 16 or 17 stations and is expected to serve over 85,000 households and 100,000 jobs, with daily ridership projected at 60,000 and a 60-minute rush-hour travel time.
Routes under consideration run via Hastings Street and Willingdon Avenue or Boundary Road and Lougheed Highway.
The project aims to start in 2027.
