TfL launches campaign urging passengers to use headphones to cut noise on public transport.
Transport for London (TfL) has launched a campaign to reduce noise disturbances on public transport by encouraging passengers to use headphones.
A TfL survey found that 70% of 1,000 respondents found loud music and phone conversations without headphones disruptive.
The campaign includes posters on the Elizabeth line and across other services, and follows calls from the Liberal Democrats and Conservatives to fine "headphone dodgers" up to £1,000.
