One in five young workers exaggerates their AI skills during job interviews, according to a LinkedIn study of over 19,000 employees across 14 countries. Nearly half of the respondents felt learning AI was as burdensome as a second job, while 63% believed resisting AI would cause workers to fall behind. Over half of Australian workers are self-training in AI using free resources. LinkedIn ANZ managing director Matt Tindale highlighted the importance of correcting misconceptions about AI, emphasizing its role in enhancing productivity without needing advanced computer skills.
